Arrival at Kathmandu Airport & transfer to Hotel

Flying into Kathmandu on a crystal clear day is itself a truly breathtaking experience. The views of snow-capped mountain peaks sprawling down below you are almost ecstatic, & begin a whole sequence of memorable experiences that stay with you for a real long time. Upon arrival, a representative and driver from our office will meet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel. Our team will assist you with check-in process and provide an orientation about your daily activities. This will be your first overnight stay in the city of temples.

Full -day Sightseeing Tour in Kathmandu Valley and making permit

It is a day for Sightseeing Tour in Kathmandu Valley and trek preparation with making permit etc. We will arrange a professional tour guide for you and a private tourist vehicle with a driver to explore between monuments. The tour guide will take you to UNESCO World Heritage Sites such Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath and Boudhanath Stupa, the historical and cultural sites you’ll visit today.

After completion of your day tour, you will be having meeting with your trek guide at our office/hotel. He will brief you about the Trek and all the essentials. The Thamel has many trekking gear shops, where you can buy missing gear in the late evening and get ready for the driving to Pokhara.

Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara by tourist bus

The long drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara is a scenic journey which offers breathtaking views, terraced hillside, rolling and rural villages that follows Trishuli and Marsyangdi rivers. The path gives Nepal's village life along with views of distant mountains, which makes the journey beautiful itself.

Upon reaching Pokhara, trekkers are welcomed by a relaxed lakeside atmosphere and scenic views of the Annapurna range. Trekkers can spend theirs rest of the day exploring beautiful Pokhara.

Drive from Pokhara to Hile and trek to Ulleri

After breakfast in Pokhara, we take a jeep drive to Hile (1,948 m), passing through beautiful countryside, terraced fields, rivers, and small villages along the way. The drive offers pleasant views of rural life and green hills before reaching the trek starting point. After about 3 hrs driving to Hile, the starting point of this trekking journey.  We begin our trek from here, the trail follows the stone-paved steps, traditional villages, and lush forests.

The trek then continues, gradually the tails become steeper as you climb the stone staircase that leading us to the charming traditional Magar village of Ulleri (2,070 m). Upon reaching Ulleri, you are welcomed by peaceful village surroundings and rewarded with breathtaking views of valley below and views of Annapurna South and Hiunchuli, making it ideal place to enjoy the mountain atmosphere and relax after long day’s walk.

Trek from Ulleri to Ghorepani

We continue our trek from the traditional Magar village of Ulleri to Ghorepani. As the trails begins with a gentle climb through pastureland and cultivated fields. As you climb higher, the route follows a cascading mountain stream and slowly enters a quiet dense forest of pine, oak, and rhododendron, creating an experience of peaceful trekking. Along the way, you will pass small teahouses and settlements and will have a time to rest and enjoy the journey. The route continues steadily uphill until the beautiful village Ghorepani (2,875 m). The village offers the breathtaking views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges and Ghorepani is known for its impressive mountain views.

Trek from Ghorepani to Tadapani

Today we start our day early in the morning with a short climb to Poon Hill (3,210 m). Poon Hill is known as one of the most famous viewpoints in the Annapurna region. It offers a spectacular panorama over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges, and on the clear day, see all the way south to the plains of India.

After soaking in the beautiful sunrise above the mountains and majestic views, descend along a path that winds through dense, moss-covered forests teeming with birdlife. The route leads us to the charming village of Tadapan (2,630 m), where you can relax with stunning sunset views of Annapurna South and Machhapuchhare surrounded by peaceful mountain scenery. Today, we got to start day with the beautiful sunrise and end the day with stunning sunset along the breathtaking views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Machhapuchhare ranges.

Trek from Tadapani to Ghandruk

Today the trek from Tadapani to Ghandruk, the trail gently descends through lush, damp forests, where monkeys may greet you along the way. Walk down rock-cut steps beside a sparkling mountain stream, feeling the fresh forest air. You will reach Ghandruk (1,940 m), a beautiful Gurung village with winding streets and traditional houses. Take time to explore, meet the friendly locals, and enjoy breathtaking views of Annapurna South and Machhapuchhare—a perfect blend of nature and culture.

Drive from Ghandruk to Pokhara

After spending the wonderful time exploring the traditional Gurung village of Ghandruk (1,940 m), you will descend to the road about 20 mins downhill for a jeep drive back to Pokhara. The drive offers the beautiful terraced fields, small villages, and forested hills, offering glimpse of rural life in the Annapurna region. It takes about 3-4 hours of driving to reach Pokhara. Upon reaching Pokhara, you can spend the day in Pokhara according to your interests and perferences. You can take part in any activities, enjoy independent sightseeing, or simply relax at your hotel and soak in the peaceful surroundings. It’s also a perfect opportunity to send a few postcards home, sharing stories and memories of your wonderful experience in this beautiful lakeside city.

Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist bus

While driving from Pokhara to Kathmandu, you go up to Damauli, Dumre, Mugling and Kurintar where Nepal’s first Cable car is operated to reach Manakamana (wishes) Temple. In route, you could enjoy the mountain views, green sceneries, rice terrace fields, vegetable fields and see the local folks happily engaged in their daily life activities. From Naubishe, you climb up to Thankot, gateway to the capital city of Kathmandu. You can also fly from  Pokhara to Kathmandu which takes about 25 minutes.

The price of the trip is depence on services you take from us so that we have plenty of options on Add Ons section such Helicopter, Porters, Private Transport, Extra Guides, Accomodations and so on.

We suggest you to hire a porter to carry your bag pack while on the trek, trekking with a light day pack is much easier and you enjoy your trekking holidays to the fullest. A trekking porter carries about 20-25Kg (about 10-12Kg from each of you) and we suggest you to hire a one porter for two trekkers.

If you don’t want to spend an entire day on the road, skip the 8-9hrs bus ride from Kathmandu to Pokhara then choose a short scenic flight instead of long driving just with $120. You can utilize your saving valuable time to explore the beautiful city of Pokhara instead of sitting on a long drive. The airfare includes free domestic airport pickup and drop off. You can also add the return flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu with same price.

Don't want to take a long bus ride? No worries, you can travel comfortably from Kathmandu to Pokhara in a private car for an additional cost. Enjoy a relaxed journey at your own pace, with required stops to admire the scenery along the way. This option is extra benefit for a small groups, you can share the car fare amongst the four travelers. You can also add the return journey from Pokhara to Kathmandu at the same price.

Do you need accommodation for extra nights in Kathmandu and in Pokhara? You can add hotel stays at a (2-3) - star hotel with breakfast included. The cost is $ 50 per night for a single room and $ 55 per night for a double room.

Essential Information

Meals / Food:

Every day’s Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner is included in the package during the trek. This will be a dish of Nepali, Indian or Continental source cooked by the lodging you stay at.

Accommodations / Hotels:

The whole trekking is tea house trekking which means we will stay at simple Tea House Lodge accommodation during the trek which will be wood and stone houses with outside toilet and bathroom mostly.

Electricity:

Almost everywhere available electricity on this trekking routes but still please be prepare with 2pin plug, power bank, spare batteries and head lamp etc.

Health and Experience Required:

This trekking involves five to seven hours walking per day. However, it is some part of this trek at very high altitude, which will take a physical toll. There are no special physical or training requirements, but high altitude experience & walking is a benefit.
