Arrival at Kathmandu Airport & transfer to Hotel

Our airport team welcomes you at Tribhuvan International Airport on your arrival day. You will have a hassle-free transfer to hotel from airport. The remaining day is free for rest and enjoy your bustling surroundings.

2Day

Drive from Kathmandu to Tarkeghyang

Your adventure begins early in morning as you leave Kathmandu, on the way you will pass through beautiful village like Melamchi and Sankhu. The drive takes us through the rivers terraced hills, lush forests, and a breathtaking view of mountains and hills. Along the way we will take short break for the tea or lunch. About 5 hours of driving, you will reach the peaceful village Tarkeghyang, which serves as the base for your hike to Ama Yangri Peak.

3Day

Hike from Tarkeghyang to Ama Yangri Peak then Back to Tarkeghyang

From Tarkeghyang, you will start a pleasant hike to Ama Yangri peak at 3,771 m early in the morning after having a breakfast at hotel. The trails walk us through lush forests of rhododendron, terraced farmland, and charming Tamang villages which is full of culture and give glimpse of local Tamang community. The hike is rewarding, because you will get to see the breathtaking views of Langtang and Ganesh Himal ranges. You reach at the summit, where you can see the majestic Himalayas views where you can take photos and videos. After enjoying the views, you head back to the same route to Tarkeghyang where you can rest.

4Day

Drive from Tarkeghyang to Kathmandu

We drive back to Kathmandu from Tarkeghyang, which offers the scenic view of Himalayas, terraced fields and lush landscapes as you wind your way down from hills to the bustling capital. You are expected to arrive back in Kathmandu in the early evening, completing a full day of adventure that combines comfortable transport, a rewarding summit hike, and exposure to local culture and Himalayan landscapes.

5Day

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Home

As we have successfully completed the trip, it is time to return home or embark on your next journey. Even you can join our next adventures trips in the Himalayas if you wish too. If not, our airport team will take care of your airport escort and say you our last goodbye till the next adventure holidays.

Essential Information

Meals / Food:

Every day’s Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner is included in the package during the trek. This will be a dish of Nepali, Indian or Continental source cooked by the lodging you stay at.

Accommodations / Hotels:

The whole trekking is tea house trekking which means we will stay at simple Tea House Lodge accommodation during the trek which will be wood and stone houses with outside toilet and bathroom mostly.

Electricity:

Almost everywhere available electricity on this trekking routes but still please be prepare with 2pin plug, power bank, spare batteries and head lamp etc.
