Nepal Travel FAQs

Yes, you can get your entry visa upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. In this case, you need to submit 2 (two) passport size photograph and the visa fee. The visa fee is US$30 for 15days, US$50 for 30days and US$125 for 90days all type of visa is multiple entry visa.

Yes we do, but we are Nepal based company. So we suggest you to arrange your International destination flight from your hometown. Domestic flight ticket is included in our packages tour/treks. Additional help will be provided for your different activities like River Rafting, City Guided Day Tours, Mountain Flights, Heli Tours, Jungle Safari and hotel booking etc according to your necessities.

We need 20 % advance deposit of total cost of a tour/trek in order to confirm your reservation before you arrive in Nepal. You can pay the rest of 80 % balance upon arrival at our office. Full payment is required before starting the trip. 

Our trips often fill up months in advance, so we recommend booking early to secure your spot and avoid disappointment. But still, we will always do our best to accommodate last-minute bookings whenever possible.

Nepal offers modern banking facilities, with several international banks operating offices in Kathmandu. Most major foreign currencies are accepted, and credit cards such as American Express, Visa, and MasterCard are widely used. ATM services are available at the main cities during the trek it won't be available.

If our clients are not able to make their trip or want to cancel their program due to any
unavoidable circumstances, the following charges will be made for the trip cancellation.

  • Less than 60 days in advance:20%
  • Less than 45 days in advance:25%
  • Less than 30 days in advance:50%
  • Less than 15days in advance:75%
  • Less than 10days in advance:80%
  • One or after the starting date: No refund will be made.

Yes, Higher limits Trek accept American Express, Visa and Master cards. Please note that 3.5% will be charged in every transaction as for credit cards processing fee from bank.

Yes, our Airport Representative will meet you at the airport with a name display card. Simply look outside the terminal hall, where our representative will be holding a signboard with your name and Higher Limits Trek & Expedition logo. You will then be comfortably transferred in a private tourist vehicle to your hotel or our office.

Yes. We provide licensed guides for all treks, and you can hire a porters to carry luggage, ensuring a safer and more enjoyable experience.

Yes, We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers trekking, high-altitude activities, and in case of emergency evacuation.
