Location, Transportation and Timetable
Newbridge, (Kusma) the starting point for rafting on Kali Gandaki River is just 3 hours from Pokhara and is reached by private transport provided by Higher Limits Trek & Expedition Pvt.Ltd. Those departing from Kathmandu leave the morning before the trip, arriving in Pokhara mid afternoon. There is an orientation meeting early the same evening, providing you with an opportunity to ask any further questions you may have, to meet your member rafters, your guide and team. Overnight accommodation in Pokhara can be arranged on request. The 55km of Kali Gandaki river action takes 3 days. The return trip from the ‘Dam’ ending point of Kali Gandaki river trip to Pokhara is about four and half hour drive.
