It's a moment that makes every step of the trek worth it.

The trail takes you through beautiful villages such as Namrung, Lho, Samagaun, and Samdo, where you can experience the daily life of the local people and the region's rich Tibetan Buddhist culture. You will walk for around 5 to 9 hours each day, staying in simple local teahouses along the route. The most challenging day is Day 8, when you cross Larkya La Pass (5,106m) and descend to Bhimtang. It can take 9 to 10 hours, but the incredible mountain views will make the effort worth it.
If you're looking for a trekking adventure that offers stunning Himalayan scenery, peaceful mountain villages, rich Buddhist culture, and fewer crowds—but don't have weeks to spend in Nepal—this 10-Day Short Manaslu Circuit Trek is an excellent choice.
A Typical Day During the Short Manaslu Circuit Trek
Most of the days start around 6:30 or 7:00 AM. After a warm cup of tea or coffee and a hot breakfast, you'll pack your bag and begin walking while the weather is still cool. The mornings are usually the best time to trek, with fresh air, clear mountain views, and fresh energy.
You'll walk for a few hours before stopping at a teahouse for lunch. After a good break, the trek continues through villages, forests, rivers, and suspension bridges. There's no need to hurry. We walk at a comfortable pace, with plenty of time to rest, take photos, hydrate, and enjoy the scenery.
Normally, by 3:00 to 4:00 PM, you'll usually reach the next teahouse where you will stop for the night. After checking in, you can freshen up, walk around the village, or simply sit outside and enjoy the mountain views. Many trekkers spend the evening chatting with each other, playing cards, or enjoying a hot drink in the dining room.
Before dinner, your guide will explain the plan for the next day, including how long you'll be walking, the trail conditions, and what you should expect. It's also a good time to ask questions or share how you're feeling, especially as you get to higher elevations.
Dinner is served in the warm dining room, where trekkers often share stories from the day before heading to bed early. After dinner, most people head to bed early. A good sleep helps you feel fresh and ready for another day on the trail.
