Higher Limits Trek & Expedition Pvt. Ltd. is a well – known Government Register Trekking Company in Nepal. We are trustworthy and fully committed to giving you the best services. We accept your bookings under the following terms and conditions.

Payment Policy

When you confirm the trip with us, we need scan copy of your passport and 20% advance deposit of the total price for flight tickets, hotel booking, and trekking permit process.

Payment of the Remaining Balance

You can pay the rest of 80 % balance upon arrival at our office. Full payment is required before starting the trip, and for your last-minute booking, within a week, you need to pay the full amount of money as an advance. You can pay us through any of the following methods that are suitable for you.

Option 2: Pay upon arrival in Kathmandu (Cash)

  • Pay in Cash at our office in Kathmandu upon arrival
  • Payment must be made before your trek begins
  • We will provide you with the receipt

Risk & Liabilities

We are committed to providing the best services, which will give you a once-in-a-lifetime journey. In this connection, we perform our duties honestly & seriously to make your journey very smooth & pleasant. However, the entire program in Nepal/Tibet and Bhutan is conducted strictly under the rules and regulations of their own policies.

Therefore, Higher Limits Trek & Expedition Pvt. Ltd. and its related organization shall not be responsible for any changes in the itinerary due to unavoidable circumstances such as govt. restriction, landslide, road blockage, flood, snow, political unrest, cancellation of flight, delay, sickness or accident, any extra cost incurring there of shall be borne by the clients. So it is most advisable that clients have full insurance against medical and personal accident risk. Cancellation insurance is also most recommended.

Travel insurance

Our clients must have a complete travel insurance package. Their insurance must cover against medical, personal accident, emergency Helicopter rescue evacuation, trip cancellation, loss of gears and, natural calamity, theft of or damage to baggage and personal effects etc.

Passport and Visas

All our clients must have a valid passport with at least 6 months' validity from the return date. Nepalese visas can be obtained from the Nepalese Consulate in your country or upon arrival in Kathmandu Airport.

Program Change/Delay

The itinerary can change without notice due to unavoidable circumstances beyond our control, like weather Hazards, Landslides, Political Unrest, Road Blockage, Avalanches, Sudden Sickness, finishing your trek earlier due to personal reasons, etc. The program can be modified as per the interest of the clients, and if Higher Limits Trek cancels your trip due to unavoidable circumstances like War, Natural Disasters, Political Unrest, Bad Climate etc, HLT would be happy to refer you to an alternative trip of a similar standard, but there will not be any refund of the money you have paid in either case. Also, we are happy to keep it preserved for your next time, but not longer than one year.

Flight Delay

Flights by plane and helicopter are prone to cancellations and delays due to notorious weather in remote areas and sometimes operational complications, which could happen in particular in the Everest region, Lukla Flight, the Annapurna Region Jomsom Flight, the Dolpa, Simikot, and Jumla region, etc. When these flights are considered in the itinerary, it is also recommended to carry extra money to buy food and accommodations in case of delays. Higher Limits Trek will not be responsible for these additional expenses or costs incurred from lost connections, so plan accordingly. Trekking in the remote areas or in as described above, especially during unusual seasons, you’re highly advised to reserve extra days to prepare for some delays and avoid frustrating consequences. In case of delay in flight prior to trek departure or at the end of the trek, you need to make your own accommodation and food costs by yourself.
