Special Nature Tour - 10 Days

Flying into Kathmandu on a crystal clear day is itself a truly breathtaking experience. The views of snow-capped mountain peaks sprawling down below you are almost ecstatic, & begin a whole sequence of memorable experiences that stay with you for a real long time. Upon arrival, a representative and driver from our office will meet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel. Our team will assist you with check-in process and provide an orientation about your daily activities. This will be your first overnight stay in the city of temples.

Kathmandu, is the historical heart of Nepal, has been a popular destination for tourists ever since the country opened its borders to outside world. The city presents a wonderful combination of Hinduism, Tibetan Buddhism and Western influence in the Valley. Patan and Bhaktapur, its two prime neighboring cities bear immense historical, cultural and religious significances.

We will arrange a professional tour guide for you and a private tourist vehicle with a driver to explore between monuments. The tour guide will take you to UNESCO World Heritage Sites such Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath and Boudhanath Stupa, the historical and cultural sites you’ll visit today. Offering panoramic views of the valley.

After completion of your day tour, you will be having meeting with your trek guide at our office/hotel. He will brief you about the Trek and all the essentials. The Thamel has many trekking gear shops, where you can buy missing gear in the late evening and get ready for the drive to Chitwan. 

In the morning after breakfast, you will be driven to Chitwan National Park; a wildlife reserve, by tourist coach, where you will spend the night. You will be picked up at Chitrasari and transferred to your resort. The manager of the lodge will brief you on your Jungle program and after lunch, the lodge guide will escort you on a Tharu village walk, a visit to the museum and this will also include a sun set tour. In the evening, enjoy a Tharu stick dance and Dinner at the Resort.

05.30 hrs: you will be given a Wake up call
06.00 hrs: Tea / Coffee followed by a Nature walk for Bird watching
07.30 hrs: Breakfast
08.30 hrs: a canoe ride along with a visit to the elephant breeding center
13.00 hrs: Lunch
15.00 hrs: Visit to National Park visitors’ center (Information about the Park)
1600 hrs. A thrilling Elephant safari (Approx. 2 hours)
19.00 hrs: Slides presentation about the flora & fauna of the National Park
20.00 hrs: Dinner

Full day wildlife activities. This will include watching the tigers napping in the shade and the famous one horned rhinoceros. Overnight at your lodge

After breakfast, we drive from Chitwan to Pokhara, enjoy the scenic drive through Nepal beautiful countryside. The drive follows the banks of the Trishuli and Marshyangdi rivers, passing through villages, terraced farmlands, and green hills. After approximately 3-4 hours, you will arrive at Pokhara, a peaceful city of lakes and mountains. Upon arrival in Pokhara, spend the remaining time exploring Phewa Lake and other places. Spend the night in Pokhara. 

Early in the morning, drive to beautiful Sarangkot for stunning sunrise over the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Himalayan ranges. You will enjoy panoramic views of the majestic mountains along with a stunning aerial view of Pokhara and Phewa Lake below. You can then hike or drive back to your hotel.

After breakfast we proceed with a half day sightseeing tour of Pokhara. The tour includes Devi's fall, Gupteshwore Mahadev Cave, and Seti River. We visit Bindhyabasani temple, and the Barahi temple where it takes only one hour boating on the Phewa Lake. The remainder of the afternoon is free for leisure, allowing you to explore the vibrant Lakeside area, enjoy boating, or simply relax at the natural beauty of this charming city.

After breakfast, we continue our scenic drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu, the drives follows highways along rivers, hillside villages, and terraced fields. The drive takes approximately 6-7 hours, offering beautiful countryside views. 

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, we continue our drive to Nagarkot, a popular hill station located at an elevation of 2,175 meters. Known for its best atmosphere and panoramic Himalayan views, Nagarkot offers stunning sunrise and sunset views over the surrounding mountain ranges. After reaching Nagarkot, you can relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings, making a perfect end to the day's journey.

Today is the free day in Nagarkot. Get up early in the morning, have a cup of  coffee and then head down to the tower to view a stunning sunrise. It’s just so nice to watch. You can use the rest of the day for a pony ride and exploring the beauty of nagarkot. In the afternoon, return to Kathmandu, freshen up and then we go out for a delightful Nepalese dinner to a reputed Nepali kitchen. While enjoying dinner, we also watch a thrilling cultural dance performed by the local belles.
