Essential Information

Best Time for Everest Mountain Flight

The Everest Mountain Flight is available throughout the year, but your experience depends on the weather and visibility. Clear skies provide the best views of the mountain range, while cloudy conditions may affect the flight schedule. Flights are scheduled early in the morning, when the skies are usually the clearest.

Spring (March to May)

Spring is one of the best seasons for the Everest Mountain Flight. During this season, the sky is clear, with stable weather and comfortable temperatures. It provides excellent visibility of Mount Everest and the surrounding Himalayan range.

Autumn (September to November)

Autumn is widely considered the best time for mountain flights. After the monsoon, the air is clean, and visibility is often at its best, making it ideal for enjoying panoramic Himalayan views and photography.

Winter (December to February)

Winter also offers excellent mountain visibility, especially on clear mornings. Although temperatures are colder, the skies are often crisp and perfect for scenic flights.

Monsoon (June to August)

Mountain flights continue during the monsoon, but weather conditions are less predictable. Cloud cover and rainfall may reduce visibility, and flights are more likely to be delayed or rescheduled for safety.

Our Recommendation: We recommend spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) for the clearest mountain views. Regardless of the season, early morning flights offer the best chance of seeing Mount Everest and the Himalayan range in clear weather.

Weather & Flight Cancellation Policy

The Everest Mountain Flight is completely weather-dependent. Airlines operate the flight only when weather conditions are safe and visibility is clear enough to enjoy the Himalayan views. If poor weather, heavy cloud cover, or other operational reasons prevent the flight from operating, the airline may delay, reschedule, or cancel the flight for your safety.

If your flight is cancelled due to weather, you can choose one of the following options:

  • Reschedule your flight to the next available day.
  • Receive a refund according to the airline’s cancellation and refund policy if you are unable to reschedule.

We recommend keeping one extra day in your Nepal journey, especially during the monsoon and winter seasons, in case your flight needs to be rescheduled due to weather.

Please Note: Flight safety is always the highest priority. The final decision to operate, delay, or cancel the flight is made by the airline based on weather conditions and aviation safety regulations.

ありがとうございました!

ネパールについたのが夜遅くだったのですが
Gopalさんは迎えに来てくれました。

その後も、旅行会社のブッキングのミスで 初日のホテルが予約していたのにも関わらず満室で泊まれないというトラブルがあったのですが
Gopalさんがホテルを紹介してくれ何とかなりました。

その後も、予約していたホテルや旅行会社と直接掛け合ってくれ
返金の交渉までしてくれました。
