TAAN Joint Lhosar Cultural Program 2019 concluded on 7^th Feb. TAAN Joint- Lhosar Cultural Program is an annual event; which is TAAN has been organizing since over the two decades as a cultural tourism product. “Lhosar” is a Lunar New Year, celebrated among different Himalayan ethnic communities of Nepal such as, Sherpa, Hyolmo, Gurung, Tamang etc. This year TAAN has been organized Joint Lhosar Cultural Program on 7th Feb 2019 at Lainchaur Banquet in Kathmandu. The event was huge successful with participation of high-ranking government officials, diplomats, representatives from different tourism and trade associations, tourism entrepreneurs, media persons, TAAN general members and others . There were several cultural performances from different ethnic groups and some famous national actors and artists. The event is expected to support Visit Nepal Year 2020 campaign by promoting Lhosar as cultural tourism product in national and international arena. We also believe that the event was a great opportunity to exchange greetings and promote camaraderie among member agencies and tourism stakeholders. The other attraction of the event was door prizes, which was distributed on lucky draw basis among all the attendees at the event.
