Bardia National Park is the largest National Park in the lowland Terai area of Nepal Covering 968 sq KM. the park is home to Bengal Tiger, wild elephant, Greater One horn Rhinoceros, marsh deer and black buck. More than 30 different mammals, over 230 species of birds and several species of snakes, lizard and fish have been recorded in the parks forest, grassland and river.

This park is famous for elephant safari or jungle drive. During jungle safari or elephant safari you will come across small herds of wild elephants. You will also see rhinoceros in the park. Here you can get an experience of Adventure life time. While doing the jungle safari you can observe 30 different animals, more than 250 species of birds, and varieties of reptiles and aquatic animals.

Outline Itinerary

Day 01:
When you arrive at Nepalgunj Airport or Amebas Stand our staff will pick up you. Then you will be transferred to our Lodge where you will be offered refreshment and be given a briefing on our lodge and its services. After being given your programs for the day your room will then be allocated to you.

15:00: Village tour to a nearby ethnic Tharu village where you will learn more about the life and life style of the Tharu peoples.
20:00: Dinner

Day 02:
06:00: Wake up call
06:00: Breakfast
07:00: Elephant ride (for an hour), an excellent chance to get the lifetime experience on the elephant back and to see the wildlife of the Park. Visit to visitor Center, Crocodile Breeding Center and Tharu Cultural Museum.
13:00: Lunch
15:00: Jungle Walk. An outstanding opportunity to see the wild animals, small mammals, birds and waits in the tower (Machan) to have the wild sightseeing, accompanied by our experienced naturalists and wild life tracker. Superb photographic opportunities are plentiful.
20:00: Dinner

Day 03:
06:00: Wake up call
06:30: Breakfast
07:00: Bird Watching. A superb chance to see a great many species of birds found in Bardia. Visit to Karnali River for Dolphin sightseeing.
12:00: Lunch
13:30 Departure for onward journey.

•  Nepal entry visa fee US$ 25 (duration 15days from date of issue), US$ 40 (duration 30 days from date of issue) and US$ 100 (duration 90 days from date of issue) you can easily issue your visa upon arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu. You will require two passport size photos.
