Every day, Nepal government has been imposing strict regulations to fight against corona. Earlier this month, government imposed 14 days self-quarantine and cancelling all new travel permits for people traveling to Nepal. After that government started to monitor people moving in and out of border with India. Then started closing all schools, universities and other business sectors with also restricting movements of vehicle.

Starting from 24th March all the international borders will be closed including international flights. The long route’s vehicle inside Nepal will no longer be in operation started from 24th March. International airlines cannot bring in any passengers to Nepal whereas they can return carrying passengers. Two Hundred & Seventy Nine New Coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Nepal on 10 June, 2020, so till now, 4364 peoples have been infected and 15 deaths whereas already Six Hundred & Seventy Four got recovered and back to home (595 Male and 79 Female), 3675 patients are under the treatment in different hospital of Nepal. On June 10, 2020, the regular press brief organized by Health and Population Ministry confirmed that Four Thousand Three Hundreds and Sixty Four corona virus cases has been identified in Nepal (4055 Male and 309 Female).

 

Coronavirus COVID-19 is a new member of viruses which range from the common cold to MERS coronavirus, which is Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus and SARs, severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus.

Novel Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) was first identified in December 2019 in Huhan, the capital of China’s Hubei province that’s why the name given to the disease COVID-19. The virus is now spreading globally, resulting in the present ongoing 2019-2020 coronavirus pandemic. Common symptoms of this disease are including high Fever, Cough, and Shortness of Breathing is the major symptoms of COVID-19. Other symptoms may include Muscle Pain, Sputum Production, Sore Throat, Loss of Smell and Abdominal Pain. And sometimes, it can be severe and may result to death. It can be easily get transmitted from one person to another. And so far, there is no such vaccine yet to cure this disease and is diagnosed with a laboratory test.

While the majority of cases result in mild symptoms, some progress to viral pneumonia and multi organ failure. As of 28 March 2020, the overall rate of deaths per number of diagnosed cases is 4.7 percent, ranging from 0.2 percent to 15 percent according to age group and other health problems. For more.

Yes, you can get your entry visa upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. Also, you can get your visa at a consulate in your home country. In either case, you need to submit 2 (two) passport size photograph and the visa fee. The visa fee is US$25 for 15days, US$40 for 30days and US$100 for 90days all type of visa is multiple entry visa. We prefer 20 % advance deposit of total cost of a tour/trek in order to conform your reservation before you arrive in Nepal. And rest of the payment can be made in our office after your arrival in Nepal.

If our clients are unable to make their trip or want to cancel the trip from any difficult situation, Higher Limits Trek can refund 100% of the total cost. However Clients can postponed their traveling date and can do different activities as well.

Yes, Our Airport Representative will come to the airport to pick up you with your name display card. Just look Outside of Terminal Hall, he/she will be displaying your name in our Company plate Higher Limits Trek, and you will be transferred from our private vehicle to hotel or our office.

The Nepal government is giving its best for the fast recovery of Nepal Tourism Industry. Tourism Recovery Committee which was developed for fast recovery of tourism has given responsibility of collecting data about trekking route to TAAN. Tourism council has purposed plan of making tourism villages in five most affected districts in National Planning Commission. For infrastructure development of this project a sum of 6 crores is estimated. 10 crores for the reconstruction of the Great Himalayan trail, and 2 corers for reconstruction of hotels, restaurants, Tea-Coffee house in Manaslu, Langtang, Helambu, Cho-Ropla etc is also proposed by the government.
