Tamang Heritage Trekking - 16 Days

The Tamang Heritage Trail is the newly opened trekking route in Nepal Himalaya. We have been researching this region since 2004 and it is by far our ‘Favorite little spot for walk’. Some Nepali NGO’S have worked hard with local villagers to develop the trails and the result is an easy- going route through perfect mountain scenery. This will become one of the most popular short trekking routes in the years to come as it offers a great general overview to the Himalaya and its cultures, and is very easy to access from Kathmandu. One of the highlights of this trek is the chance to do ‘home stays’ in the village of Briddim. This involves staying in traditional Tamang house for a couple of nights. There are also incredible views of Tibetan, Langtang and Ganesh Himal ranges. Without a doubt this is a gem of a trek and superb acclimatization before heading to Mustan.
